A k-12 school in a single building, this project was chosen as a pilot for USGBC-Montana chapter and received a grant from USGBC.
The project also iwas supported by a energy analysis grant from State of Montana Department of Environmental Quality.
Student council, representing the 220 students, developed their recycle program and the local food production credit.
A major challenge for the project is exterior maintenance as the school grounds are home to herds of elk and bison from ajacent Yellowstone National Park, North Entrance.
