After an extensive upgrade of the main concession building for this National Memorial, a LEEDv4 Operations and Maintenance program was initiated. The staff work is being supported by Xanterra Parks & Resorts, the concessionaire for Mount Rushmore. The new parking garage on site is being certified under ParkSmart rating system. Both programs are anticipated to be set by end of 2019, with certifications completed.
