Design and built to be the core campus building, Missoula College programs are now being offered in this building.
On an exceptional previously built site, the project provides easy bicycle and pedestrian access through a commercial district in the City of Missoula. Parking is ample but alternative transportation is convenient via public bus, which stops in front of the campus.
The Clark Fork River affords the south side of the building with spectacular views of the University of Montana's main campus. The culinary school was strategically place to take advantage of the views for both students and visitors to the student-run cafe.
The new building has welcomed an increase in student body enrollment. It is often used by the community and the state for conferences and meetings.
Special tributes are being paid to the architect, Mark Headley, who passed away in early 2018 and is missed by all.
